Therapist Stephanie

couples, and families.

Therapist Gideon
Horse Cole

Cole

Cole is the youngest, and often goofiest, member of the Hope Reins herd. He brings the fun to the party, and often forgets he is a 1700 pound horse rather than a 20 pound puppy dog. Cole will do just about anything for a treat, especially if he can smell an apple or peppermint within reach. Cole is known to have a limited attention span. He is still learning patience, and occasionally needs to be reminded of personal space and appropriate boundaries, although is quick to ‘apologize’ when he crosses a line. He has a natural ability to create learning opportunities within a safe environment during therapy sessions, and is quickly and easily loved by those he meets.

Horse Cobalt

Cobalt

Cobalt is the newest member of our herd. He is a gentle giant, who was once a competitive jumper until an injury ended his jumping career. Cobalt is a ‘go with the flow’ kind of guy who generally appears as calm and cool as his piercing blue eyes. Outwardly, he shows a more serious demeanor, and will make others work to gain his trust through consistent kindness and patience. In the therapy arena, Cobalt is trustworthy, kind, and alert. He has a heart equal to if not bigger than his physical size, and shows remarkable allegiance to anyone he deems worthy of his trust.

Horse Cody

Cody

Cody is the leader of the herd at Hope Reins. He is wise, confident, patient, and an all around gem of a guy! The level of insight and understanding Cody brings to therapy sessions is simply amazing! Cody was diagnosed several years ago with a condition called navicular, which causes constant pain in his front feet and legs. For many horses this condition can mean the end of the road. Cody is living proof that ailments do not determine our worth, nor do they get to limit our quality of life. He is a wonderful example of perseverance and a positive attitude in the face of adversity for all who get to know him.
